Pete Kirven
A "Pretty Good Agent," Pete is a Louisville native with over 25 years of marketing experience. He takes the business of buying or selling your home seriously, but believes it's great when you can have fun along the way. His eagerness to work hard to understand the market and help people get what they want, plus his attention to detail, give his clients the confidence they need in order to relax and enjoy the process.

Pete gets a kick out of meeting new clients as well as having the chance to work with old friends. He loves the fun group of entrepreneurial professionals at Kentucky Select who well deserve their reputation for Trusted Direction in Real Estate.
He grew up in Crescent Hill and he and his wife, Diane O'Callaghan Kirven, live in the Highlands where they raised their four children. He attended Second Presbyterian Preschool, Crescent Hill Presbyterian Kindergarten, Emmet Field Elementary, Barret Junior High and Atherton before graduating from Kentucky Country Day School. He played lacrosse for Yale, where he earned his undergraduate degree. He received an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.
Pete has served on the boards of Dare to Care, Blackacre Foundation, YMCA Camp Piomingo, the Cherokee Triangle Association Board of Trustees, the Louisville Collegiate School Master Planning committee, the Camp Piomingo Alumni Council, was a mentor with Teach Kentucky, Bulldogs In The Bluegrass and for years volunteered to interview high school applicants to Yale University. Pete enjoys his monthly Monday Club adventures in Kentucky Outdoors, his early morning bike rides through Cherokee & Seneca Parks to Bowman Field and driving his old red convertible.
